Few brands can boast a heritage as rich as Zodiac, whose origins date back to the early 19th century when Jacob Calame established himself as a watchmaker in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. By 1882, Jacob's descendant, Ariste Calame, had returned to the family's ancestral home in Le Locle and founded his own watch-making workshop. The company grew dramatically in size and scope over the next two decades.
